On August 26, 2026, the ElizaOS team focused on hardening the framework’s cloud infrastructure and mobile stability while significantly improving UI modularity. The project also saw a massive influx of pull requests aimed at ensuring Unicode safety and surrogate-pair integrity across the codebase.

Cloud Infrastructure & Security

* Multi-Principal Consent: Implemented `all_adults` shared consent mode for cloud groups to enhance security (elizaos/eliza#28361). * Session & Payment Management: Improved Redis key invalidation on logout and added gated crypto payment confirmations (elizaos/eliza#28712, elizaos/eliza#29275). * Database Reliability: Added authority locks and new migrations to improve dedicated agent adoption and tier upgrades (elizaos/eliza#29155, elizaos/eliza#29207).

UI Modularity & App Experience

* Plugin-Based Architecture: Refactored UI views into plugins to enable lazy loading and cleaner app architecture (elizaos/eliza#29151). * Navigation & Design: Standardized launcher icons and improved navigation determinism for agent-aware local views (elizaos/eliza#29064, elizaos/eliza#29335, elizaos/eliza#29061, elizaos/eliza#29152).

Mobile & Android Hardening

* Build Stability: Hardened the LP3 Android build profile with trusted remote-agent fallbacks and strict color policy enforcement (elizaos/eliza#29098). * Authentication & Permissions: Streamlined Android Cloud authentication recovery flows and enabled foreground location/notification capabilities (elizaos/eliza#29282, elizaos/eliza#29020).
