A new trading agent called Squidllora was announced by @elizaOS.

Described as a 'trading agent that learns, adapts, and acts on $SOL forecasts,' Squidllora is powered by @AlloraNetwork and elizaOS. The agent is characterized by 'real-time onchain signals, swarm-based agents, and risk-managed strategy.' @autodotfun responded to the announcement with 'gML,' and later joked with @Squidllora about having 'tentacle hands.'

He noted that 'Discord is very chaotic, info gets lost easily, and all your data is in the cloud,' highlighting the value of this open-source tool that provides 'daily actionable insights from your community + logs.' He mentioned that while the setup is currently 'pretty technical / hard mode,' it will eventually become an Eliza plugin.

The Eliza project has undergone several changes to its monorepo structure, with multiple plugins being removed including an unnamed plugin (PR #4398), plugin-pdf (PR #4400), and plugin-storage-s3 (PR #4402).

Additionally, unused packages were removed in PR #4135, and audio utilities were moved to the core in PR #4133.

Several new features have been added to the OpenAI plugin, including support for custom embedding endpoints (PR #4421) and the ability to choose embedding models (PR #4140).

Authentication has been enhanced with middleware and an API key dialog for unauthorized users (PR #4420). The Reply feature now uses a small model (PR #4416).
